The Los Angeles Culture Festival™ is a celebration of culture and tradition. On Saturday, June 24th, 2023, Hollywood Blvd. will miraculously transform into a grand carnival & street extravaganza. Parade-goers and masqueraders will be dressed in vibrant, breathtaking costumes dancing to pulsating rhythms of Calypso, Soca, Samba, Reggae, Zouke, Latin, Punta, Meringue, Mariachi, Reggaeton, Blues, Jazz, Steel Pan, Indian, Asian, African, Middle Eastern and otherworldly music.

The official parade route for the Los Angeles Culture Festival™ (LACF) Parade of the Bands begins on Normandie Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. The parade will start by heading west on Hollywood Boulevard for approximately 3 miles, and end at Highland Avenue. Each year, our goal is to ensure our volunteers have a memorable experience with us! Volunteers play a very important role within our organization. Their contribution to our organization helps us effectively execute the Los Angeles Culture Festival each year. We strive to provide our volunteers with a positive, rewarding and fun experience. To show just how much we appreciate your time with us, each volunteer will receive the following;

  • Free access into Carnival Culture Village
  • Free lunch and refreshments
  • Free t-shirt with wristband
  • Certificate upon successful completion.

    All volunteers, new and returning, are required to attend a mandatory training session conducted by the LACF Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteers are ONLY required to attend one (1) of the LACF volunteer training sessions. Both training sessions will be scheduled in June. You will be notified by the volunteer coordinator regarding the dates and location of training. Attendance at this training session is a requirement to becoming a volunteer with LACF. During training you can expect to:

  • Learn about the different volunteer roles/ responsibilities
  • Learn more about the organization, and your role in it
  • Meet and connect with other LACF committee members
  • Connect with other volunteers
  • Get updates and more.
